Olive's Café
Olive's Café is located on the Island in St Ives, an area which is more laid back and a lot quieter than the rest of the town. We provide a quiet haven from the bustle of the town, with additional seating out front to watch the world pass by, whilst enjoying one of our cream teas, a slice of one of our delicious cakes or one of our mouth watering light meals.
This area has plenty of galleries and art studios to explore at leisure with Blue Bramble Gallery right next door. The infamous St Ives School of Painting and Porthmeor Studios, are only a few minutes walk away, with the Tate a couple of minutes further along.
A few minutes walk in the other direction, is the lovely golden sandy Porthgwidden Beach.

Delicious Cornish cream teas, consisting of freshly made scones, Cornish clotted cream, jam and local tea.

Our menu also includes a selection of light meals and lunches, the ingredients for our salads and fish dishes are locally sourced.
We have daily specials on our boards, a selection of freshly made to order sandwiches and tapas.

We have a wide range of hot or cold drinks, from freshly prepeared coffee, a variety of teas to fizzy drinks, juices and smoothies.
As we are licensed, we offer a selection of local and world craft beers and wines.
Expanding our successful Curry Nights...
Ever thought about hosting your very own pop-up restaurant night, here in St. Ives? This is a great way to test your culinary skills, have a lot of fun and earn some extra money, or it could act as a springboard, for establishing your very own eatery.
At Olive’s Café, we already run a very successful series of Curry Nights and are now planning to expand this in 2018, by creating more cook nights, hosted by budding and entrepreneurial chefs or cooks. We are open to any ideas you may have, it would be your night, in our café and using our facilities.
Whether for your own private functions, or taking bookings for up to forty covers in two sittings a night, this opportunity is up to you.

At Olive's Café, here in St. Ives, we are able to offer our room for private hire, for functions including: parties, business meetings and formal get togethers.
We are located on Island Square, which is on the Island and ideally placed for easy acess to the town, it's harbour, the Tate and all the local beaches.
We are an ideal venue for an intimate party, a family get together, a small wedding reception or birthday party for any age. We have even held the occasional anniversary and retirement party.
St. Ives is renowned all over the world, for its New Year celebrations in the town & harbour front. Olive's Café, is only a couple of minutes away and an ideal base for the festivites.
We are licensed and provide a range of world wines and beers.
